Esme, Kim, Alondra and Jacqui support in the evaluation and development of programming and are currently writing a grant to further provide leadership to CultureSeed’s year round programming for underserved youth.

My name is Jacqui and I am a college student at OSU. I have been supporting program logistics and CultureSeed’s social media presence. I have been and continue to be involved with CultureSeed because I know there is so much potential for the youth that are involved. Being there for them as part of their journey to the top of the mountain is a momentous and phenomenal experience.

My name is Alondra Manzo and I am currently attending Columbia Gorge Community College with an interest in Nursing. At CultureSeed I have been working and helping as an office assistant. I continue to work with CultureSeed because getting involved with youth impacts not only their lives but mine as well. The youth experience many life changing moments at CultureSeed which is something I enjoy being a part of.

Throughout my time working with CultureSeed, I’ve felt very empowered and learned so much. I supported youth on the 7 day backpacking trip and during the summer outings. I am excited to spend my time facilitating, planning, and partaking in activities that dig deeper than what we’re accustomed to in our communities.

My name is Esme and I supported the 7 day backpacking trip and have assisted in the weekly summer adventures and young women circles. I’m currently working as a mentor and learning how to be an outdoor guide as well. I’ve continued with the Cultureseed program because of the community and change that it’s initiating.
