How to Cultivate a Symbiotic Relationship in a Diverse Community
Come join us for a day of Networking, Break-Out Sessions, and Experiential Activities to address this year's theme. Harnessing organic design, we will set a collaborative space to encourage cross-pollinating ideas and collective envisioning. Active participation is highly encouraged to help propel the discussion!
Keynote Presentation will showcase one way to bring different perspectives into the classroom and beyond:
CONNECTION TO EVERYTHING - STORIES FROM THE RIVER
Jefferson Greene - Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs
Pamela Larsen - Local visionary, artist and educator
Erika Rench - Confluence in the Classroom
In the spirit of synergy, lunch will proceed as a community potluck so bring a dish to share. In order to accommodate folks with food allergies and dietary restrictions, please be ready to write a note to identify ingredients if applicable (vegetarian/vegan/gluten free). Bring your own dish, utensil and cup too!
We are seeking a handful of volunteers to help for a few hours setting up the day before the event and for clean up thereafter. For a discounted registration, please specify if you are willing and available to volunteer for one of the two requested windows (Friday 4/20 @ 2-5pm / Saturday 4/21 @ 7-8am & 3:30-5pm). Number of volunteers are limited so this will become unavailable once spots are filled.
We encourage you to arrive with an open mind and open heart. Just like the environment around us, everyone has a role to play in its design. Come ready to share your gifts and embrace others. All voices have a space to be heard.
