Garden Fundraiser.jpg

Join us on Thursday evening August 22nd 6-9pm for the CultureSeed Mediterranean Mixer

We are fundraising for the CultureSeed Community Learning Garden at Atlan Community~

Our goal is to raise $3000 for next year's Garden Lead. This person manages the garden, leading the community who gathers weekly to help. We are open to the public every Saturday morning from 10-noon and Wednesday Afternoons from 4-6pm  This person additionally supports the youth in our year-long immersion who often meet at the garden to get their hands dirty, growing food and their connection to the Earth.

We will be serving classic Middle-Eastern food: Hummus, Tahini, Falafel, Pita Bread and more…..with a glass of house wine from Le Doubblé Troubblé Winery at their cute Wine Bar in White Salmon
111 E. Jewett Blvd

Come meet the community of CultureSeed and Atlan as we celebrate another beautiful summer in the Columbia Gorge!

The Chefs preparing this meal both have been restauranteurs in the past; Yaniv comes straight from Israel and owned an Israeli Restaurant in Cambodia. La created the Gravity Bar, a famous natural food restaurant in Seattle from 1986 until 2000. She is one of the founders of CultureSeed and serves on the Board of Directors.

Tickets for this event are sliding scale $25 - $50

We are excited to present a small Silent Art and Healing Auction! Be prepared to bid on some lovely local art featuring themes of Nature. Plan ahead by purchasing a massage, facial or another kind of session from the amazing Healers in White Salmon!

At 7:45 our Executive Director Carolina Pfister will do a short presentation about CultureSeed's many Youth Programs and La will share a bit about our Community Programs.

In partnership with the Atlan Center, the CultureSeed Learning Garden provides an opportunity for people to learn about small-scale organic agriculture throughout the growing season. A hand-tilled, diverse demonstration garden, growing healthy, delicious organic food for CultureSeed participants and the larger community.
